The Caracara Trails will link the area’s natural, cultural and historical resources, to create a regional identity for outdoor tourism and will promote a healthier lifestyle for all residents.

To secure services from community specialists required for continuity of care in complicated cases.

SSA's Low Vision Program provides high-tech vision aids to children with severe visual impairment.

Special Olympics Texas RGV provides year round sports for people with intellectual disabilities.

To increase access to 24 hour comfort/palliative care for terminally ill patients enrolled in Hospice.

To conduct homelessness prevention effort through rent assistance plus daily nutritious community meal program.

To address basic needs for men, women, and families during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Community Meal Program.

Equipment and remodeling to enhance the TSTC Harlingen Dental Hygiene and EMS programs that train students to meet area healthcare needs.

To provide supportive services to help strengthen families and minimize the risk of child abuse.

To develop a comprehensive strategic planning process to uncover more areas for improvement  through capacity development.

To implement Get Shift Done - RGV to prepare, package and distribute meals and bags of emergency food. This initiative will provide staffing for nonprofit food distribution activities across the entire Rio Grande Valley as well as increase the food pantry capacity to non profit organizations providing food assistance.

By making the RGV the nation’s epicenter for Hispanic health research, this program called, "THRIVE", will help UTRGV attain emerging research university status and improve health care for all throughout the region.

To develop a Get Out the Count campaign to empower and encourage the UTRGV student population to work alongside their families and in their communities to help increase the turnout for the 2020 U.S. Census in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV).

To support our mental health and substance abuse prevention services.

Accessibility to colposcopy and HPV Vaccinations through training, equipment, and lab costs.

This project is geared to improving quality in the way we learn about sustainable health provision and growing in scope of health provision and education in our community.
